WASHINGTON – On Wednesday night, arguably, some the metro area’s most talented karaoke performers came out to support ChildHelp and raise money for the abused children the organization benefits.  Rebecca Cooper from WJLA and Wes Johnson, the voice of the Washington Capitals, were emcees for the event.  ChildHelp founders Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson were both on hand to celebrate the night and thank donors.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama welcomed the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers to the White House Friday,though, not necessarily with open arms. Obama, the former senator of Illinois and a die-hard Chicago Bears fan, was perhaps less than pleased to have the Packers visit as they are the bitter rivals of the Bears. Green Bay defeated Chicago in the NFC championship game to advance to Super Bowl XXXXV.
