WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, Washington, D.C. seniors gathered at the Library of Congress to hear Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton speak on the issues of health care.
Dr. John Thompson opened the ceremony, which included such guests as Yummy Tyler, a fitness coordinator at the Washington Seniors Wellness Center. Tyler took to the stage and led an enthusiastic dancing exercise with a group of seniors.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama honored the Medal of Freedom recipients at a White Houseceremony on Tuesday. The Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian honor. WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton kicked off her campaign for a 12th straight term on Capitol Hill Saturday with a celebratory rally to garner support from Washington D.C. voters.
