Actor George Clooney, Anderson Cooper, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio will be helping to open the new observatory at One World Trade Center. De Blasio, Clooney and Cooper are set to be on “CBS This Morning” Wednesday as the show offers a first look at the 102nd-floor space, which officially opens to the public May 29. The show will be hosted by Norah O’Donnell, Gayle King, and Charlie Rose. The colossal 104-story skyscraper is the tallest in the United States. It is 1,776 feet tall. It opened late last year. “CBS This Morning” executive producer Chris Licht stated that the observatory “is a true symbol of how far New York City has come since September 11.”
