Entertainment – Ex-Megadeth drummer dies

Former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza died after collapsing on stage during a show with his new band, Ohm, in California Saturday night. Paramedics couldn’t revive the 51-year-old and officials haven’t released a cause of death. Menza played for one of metal’s “Big Four”, Megadeth, for nine years in the early 1990’s. “The group’s bassist texted me last night after it happened,” Ohm’s manager Steve Bauer told CNN. “We are all still in shock.” Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine tweeted, “Tell me this isn’t true.”
