Foo Fighters plan to take some down time

It is possible the Foo Fighters’ performance at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park was their last as a band. The band’s creator,  David Grohl, made an official statement on the band’s Facebook page that they were going to be taking a hiatus. He specifically said it was a hiatus and the band was not breaking up, but neither was he certain when they would get back together again. “It’s a good thing for all of us to go away for a while,” Grohl wrote on their Facebook page.
