Michael Clarke Duncan on hospital respirator after heart attack
Actor Michael Clarke Duncan remains sedated and on a respirator after suffering a heart attack five days ago. The 54-year-old “Green Mile” actor went into full cardiac arrest after his heart attack and has been on the respirator since his Friday hospital admission. A source said that Duncan’s heart is in good shape and has a “very strong heartbeat;” however, there are no immediate plans to remove the actor from the breathing device.
His girlfriend, former “Apprentice” contestant Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, administered CPR around 2 a.m. Friday morning and was able to revive him. The actor’s medical team thanks Omarosa’s quick thinking and says it’s because of her assistance that Duncan “is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery.”
