‘Partridge Family’ star Suzanne Crough Condray dies at age 52

Suzanne Crough Condray, who was best known for her role as Tracy Partridge on hit 1970’s television show “The Partridge Family” has died. Condray was found dead Monday night at home in Laughlin, near Las Vegas. She was 52. According to Las Vegas police, she suffered a medical episode and the circumstances of her death are not suspicious. Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg stated on Tuesday that an autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday. The exact cause of death is pending the results of forensic laboratory testing. Condray as a child actress starred in commercials and on “The Partridge Family,” which ran on ABC from September 1970 to March 1974. The iconic show centered on a widowed mother and her five children who formed a band. The series starred Shirley Jones, 1970’s teen idol and heartthrob David Cassidy and Danny Bonaduce. Condray as youngest daughter Tracy played the tambourine as a member of the TV family’s band. Condray is survived by her husband of 30 years William Condray, two daughters, and granddaughter. Services have not been set.
