Robin Williams, who committed suicide on Monday, was battling Parkinson’s disease according to his wife, Susan Schneider. Schneider remembers her husband as being “brave” as he battled depression, anxiety and early stages of the disease. She also adds that Williams’ diagnosis was not something he was ready to share publicly. ” It is our hope in the wake of Robin’s tragic passing, that others will find the strength to seek the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid,”Schneider stated.
