Glen Burnie man to appear on “All-Star Academy”

An average Joe from Glen Burnie is one of the ten home cooks appearing on the new Food Network show “All-Star Academy.” Joseph Harris will be vying for one of eight coveted spots in the competition and ultimately a $50,000 prize. The eight contestants that get to move on will be mentored by four Food Network stars: Bobby Flay, Alex Guarnaschelli, Curtis Stone and Michael Symon. The contestants will face challenges with the help of their mentors and guest judges will eliminate contestants. The 27-year-old Harris has previously worked in several chain restaurants. He stated that he got his passion for cooking from his beloved grandmother. The show will be premiering on Sunday at 9:00 p.m.
