A fire at John Hanson Middle School has burned a number of classroom trailers at a public middle school in Waldorf, according to authorities in Charles County. The fire took out 18 temporary classroom trailers, but the main building of the school was not affected. There were no reports of injuries. Officials say a lighting strike caused the fire. The lightning strike hit the building and then spread throughout the trailers. Repairs will cause around $1,000,000.
