Fatimate Diallo, a forty-two-year old Fredrick woman, has been charged with leaving her children in a supermarket parking lot in 90 degree weather. Diallo left her four kids, ages 12, 9, 3 and 2, alone in the car just before 4:30 p.m. on July 7. A woman pulled into the spot next to Diallo and entered the store around the same time and called the police 15 minutes later. Court documents state Diallo left the kids alone for roughly 30 minutes. Maryland law makes it a misdemeanor to leave children under age 8 alone in a locked vehicle.
