Three men were arrested for attempting to rob a 7-Eleven store, according to Prince George’s County Police. Two armed men in masks attempted to get into the store while a third remained in a vehicle. The suspects were prevented because the door was locked.

One suspect attempted to flee the scene, but was apprehended by officers. Theodore McNeal Scott of Hyattsville has been charged with armed robbery. The other two suspects escaped in their car, but were arrested in the District later. Clarence Brandy-Omarr Weaver and Dexter Deleon of Silver Spring will be charged with armed robbery when they are returned to Maryland.
