A man wanted in northern Pennsylvania on suspicion of killing a state trooper was found Thursday after 48 days on the run. Matthew Eric Frein, 31, has been charged with first degree murder and other charges in connection with the Sept. 12 killing of Corporal. Bryon Dickson and the wounding of Trooper Alex T. Douglass. He was seen in court Friday morning. Frein has been missing in the woods since then until he was discovered unarmed Thursday at an abandoned airport near Tannersville, Penn. during a routine sweep of the area, according to CNN. Residents of the area are returning to normal activities after the past month wherein children were kept inside for recess and some towns even cancelled trick-or-treating as a safety precaution.
