Today is the last day to register to vote before the Nov. 4 midterm elections. In the D.C. area, Maryland residents have until 9 p.m. to register, and Virginia residents until 5 p.m. Voter registration is possible at Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles locations, Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration facilities, and local registrars offices. Online, registration is possible for Maryland here, and Virginia here. Maryland residents will vote on the state’s next governor, General Assembly and representatives in Congress. In Virginia, residents will choose their next U.S. Senator and other Congressmembers.
