Schools on lockdown as police search area

A police search in the area has prompted security measures at Prince William County Schools Monday. Elementary students from T. Clay Wood Elementary School have been diverted and moved to Brentsville District High School, where school activities continue. Patriot High School is on lock-down, although school activities continue. A car belonging to a murder suspect was discovered in the parking lot of the elementary school. Police are searching for Edward Hale Jr., 35, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, in connection with the shooting death of Jessica Leigh Wilson, 31. Hale is described as black, 5’10”, 190 pounds, and bald with brown eyes and a goatee. School officials assure parents that everyone in the schools is safe.
