D.C.’s first cat café opens in Georgetown

Crumbs & Whiskers, D.C.’s first cat café, opened on Saturday in Georgetown. At the O Street location, visitors can play with cats that live at the café and order food delivered from another local café. About 24 cats will fill the café at a time, provided by the Washington Humane Society. These cats will also be available for adoption. A café visit costs $10 an hour on weekdays and $12 on weekends. Customers can make reservations on the café’s website.
