A rookie D.C. firefighter was arrested Wednesday on weapons charges. Andre Watson was arrested Wednesday afternoon after police served him a search warrant at his apartment in Southeast D.C. Watson is the third District firefighter arrested in less than a month. Police discovered an unregistered Glock handgun, optic laser sights unregistered ammunition, and a number of other items. Watson has been placed on administrative leave. Earlier this month, two firefighters were arrested on assault and other miscellaneous charges.
