Local DC brewery to celebrate Election Day with free pints
Capitol City Brewing Company is joining the political fervor by offering a free pint to anyone over 21 who stops by their D.C. location wearing a “I voted” sticker on Election Day. General manager Tony Harahan says that there will also be beer and food specials from 11 a.m. to midnight as a gesture of good will, celebration, and patriotism. The specials are not connected to allegiance to either political party and all are welcome to visit the brewery, enjoy some craft brews, and celebrate the election.
Capitol City’s Arlington, VA location will offer some of the same specials, but due to Virginia’s alcohol laws, free pints will not be given out.
