Obama to meet with Prince Charles and Camilla in March

President Barack Obama will host Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, at the White House next month. Obama will meet with the royal couple in the Oval Office March 19. The meeting emphasizes the “special relationship” between the United States and Britain. Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla will be in D.C. as part of a broader trip to the States. According to the White House, the royal couple will also pay a visit to George Washington’s home at Mt. Vernon and the National Archives, where the crown prince will mark the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta. Obama hosted Charles’ son, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, at the White House in 2014.
