The 42nd annual March for Life comes to Washington Thursday. The event brings tens of thousands of people to D.C. to mark the anniversary of Roe v. Wade (1973). The Archdiocese of Washington stated that more than 28,000 teens and young adults are expected to attend Mass at the Verizon Center, to pray for an end to legalized abortion. Cardinal Donald Wuerl, the Archbishop of Washington will celebrate the 7:30 a.m. mass along with bishops from around the U.S. There will be a noon-time rally at the National Mall, followed by a march to the U.S. Supreme Court from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
