Oscar Pistorius has been found not guilty of murder, but may receive a lighter conviction of “culpable homicide” in relation to the February 14, 2013 killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. The South African Olympian is also charged with three weapons charges, the most serious of which is related to having ammunition in his house. Judge Thokozile Masipa has speculated on the pre-formed bias the witnesses may have formed due to the media frenzy surrounding the case from the beginning. A verdict is expected some time today.
