The Arlington police chief said Tuesday that Officer Brad Miller was fired for “poor judgment” after killing an unarmed black teen. The officer shot Christian Taylor, 19, at a car dealership after Taylor allegedly drove his SUV through the showroom window. Miller said he felt threatened by Taylor, who did not comply with the officer’s orders and was moving towards him. There was no physical contact between the officer and the unarmed teen. Taylor was a football player at Angelo State University and would have been a sophomore this year.
