Comedian Rosie O’Donnell’s briefly missing 17-year-old daughter was found last week at the home of Steven Sheerer, age 25. O’Donnell’s daughter was found after an examination of her cell phone, during which the police found evidence of inappropriate communications between her and Sheerer. The accusations against Sheerer are that he “knowingly distributed obscene images to a minor … specifically a nude photo over the Internet,” and endangered the minor’s life. These charges could earn him up to 10 years in prison. Sheerer’s attorney says they have strong evidence that the charges are false. In two separate cases in 2012 and 2013, Sheerer pleaded guilty to drug offenses and was sentenced to two years of probation.
