General Mills will be recalling 1.8 million boxes of “gluten-free” Cheerios, the company said in a press release Monday. The popular cereal’s facility in Lodi, California has had issues concerning offloading flour that may have contaminated the gluten-free flour with wheat flour. This recall affects four days’ worth of product, and such varieties as Honey Nut and classic. General Mils is recalling boxes still at warehouses and stores, and is asking customers allergic to wheat to call the company at 1-800-775-8370.
