Hubbard Broadcasting to give $5M to Newseum

Hubbard Broadcasting Inc. has announced that it will give the Newseum $5 million dollars in support of their new program about the five freedoms of the First Amendment. The museum about journalism has been trying to increase fundraising after struggling with costs the past few years since opening a new building. They say there has been increased revenue and attendance at the museum in the past year. Hubbard, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, will become the Newseum’s 16th founding partner. The museum plans to rename its concourse level the Hubbard Broadcasting Concourse because of the donation
