Judge rules that defense can publicize evidence in Gray case

0

Judge Barry Williams denied State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby’s request for a protective order against the defense in the Freddie Gray case publicizing selected evidence. The judge ruled that there was not enough evidence to merit the protective order. The state argued that defense attorneys might release certain evidence to the public that could influence the trial. The state also said that it would not mind if all evidence was released. Gray died from a neck injury while under the custody of Baltimore police in April.
