Kanye West heckled on stage at Glastonbury Festival

Because many were unhappy that American Kanye West was the headliner at the five-day British music festival, British comedian Lee Nelson decided to protest it on stage. Nelson wore a shirt that said “Lee-Zus,” mocking West’s nickname “Yeezus.” The comedian had a working microphone and ran around the stage for a few seconds during Kanye’s first song before guards apprehended him. After the distraction, West began his song again and completed his 30-song set.
