Kerry to visit Cuba

Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Cuba on August 14 to raise the American flag over the newly reopened U.S. embassy in Havana. He will be the first secretary of state to visit Cuba since 1945. On Monday, diplomatic relations were officially restored between the two nations with the reopening of embassies. On Monday, the Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla raised the Cuban flag over their embassy in Washington, D.C. and met with Kerry at the State Department.
