Medical examiner: 5-year-old found in septic tank drowned

A Virginia medical examiner says that a 5-year-old boy who was found in a septic tank died by drowning. The autopsy of Noah Thomas of Pulaski County also reveals hypothermia as a contributing factor. The manner of death is officially “undetermined.” The child’s mother, Ashley White, is charged with felony homicide. White and Noah’s father, Paul Thomas, face charges of felony child neglect of Noah and his baby sister. They are being held without bond.
