Obama criticizes GOP objections to Iran deal

President Obama has commented on the GOP’s opposition to the recent nuclear deal with Iran, saying it would be “ridiculous if it weren’t so sad.” Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee returned the criticism, saying that it was “ridiculous and sad” that Obama wasn’t taking Iran’s threats against Israel seriously. The White House is currently campaigning to prevent Congress from blocking the implementation of the Iran deal.  This deal would require Iran to limit its nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions. The Republican presidential candidates are unanimously opposed to the deal, and some of them have vowed to immediately terminate the deal it if elected.
