President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on Monday to reaffirm their commitment to peace in the Middle East. This comes as the first time the two leaders have spoken in over a year as tensions peaked earlier this year over the Iran nuclear deal. “We don’t have a disagreement on the need to making sure Iran does not get a nuclear weapon, and we don’t have a disagreement about us blunting destabilizing activities in Iran that may be taking place,” President Obama said.
