Police search for missing 80-year-old

Virginia State Police and the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office are searching for Howard Shrieves, Jr., an 80-year-old man last seen on his way from his home in Accomack County, Virginia to Pocomoke City, Maryland. Shrieves’s cell phone was found near Fredericksburg on Saturday. Police state that Shrieves, who suffers from cognitive impairment, seemed confused when last contacted. He is about 6 foot, 1 inch tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt, blue pants, black boots, a blue jacket and a brown baseball cap and drives a black 1999 Ford Escort with Virginia plate VKB 2761.
