Aretha Franklin wants to join ‘American Idol’
Grammy award-winning singer Aretha Franklin is interested in becoming a judge on the singing competition show, “American Idol.” Franklin, who is often referred to as the “Queen of Soul,” would replace singer-actress Jennifer Lopez, who announced her departure from the show on Saturday.
